Wanted

Twenty-nine-year-old mother of one seeking sanity. Not much, just enough to get through 24-48 hours. Will take sanity in increments or all at once. Interested parties please contact me at 1-800-LOST-IT 2...Please hurry!

Okay...I am officially a mother out of control. Allie loves to run away from me. I don't know what to do. I spank. I say "NO,NO!" Nothing. Nothing works. Am I paying for what a rotten kid I was? Don't get me wrong. She's not being mean, at least I don't think so. She's just very active, won't sit still and WILL NOT LISTEN!!! In church, I wrestle with her the entire service and class. Yesterday we even went and sat in the car for both preaching services. Then after church she runs wild...screaming, laughing, playing having a blast. We pick her up to bring her home she hits, screams and cries. How do I take back control? I am exhausted. I don't know what to do anymore. I see other kids behaving. Why is my child different? Or is she? That's why we stay home a lot. At least here I have some control.
Saturday at Homespun basically all I did was chase her around...She had a blast. I, on the other hand, did not. I did manage to get this one cute pic...

  1. Don't worry. It's not just you. Nash and I stay home a lot, too. I can't remember the last time we ate lunch out with my mother like we used to before he was mobile.
    This, too, shall pass!
    Slowly, yes, but still...
