Sometime in 2006- March 28, 2009

This just in...

Just after 1 p.m. Saturday, March 28, "Cannon the Camera" was whirled off the hood of Matt and Tashia Lovell's car. It happened as they were leaving a friend's house in the area of Whitesburg Drive in Huntsville.
Witnesses say they didn't see it coming.
"Debris was everywhere," said an onlooker. "I can't believe someone would mistreat such a beloved piece of equipment."
As tragic as the incident was, no charges will be pressed against the Lovells.
"I am so sad. It held so many memories," Tashia Lovell said.
"Well, it was your fault," Matt said. "Now you'll have to buy another one."
A fund has been set up at "There is Hope" Bank in Athens, Alabama. Donations may be made at any location. Monies will be used to purchase another camera.
Since the parts were strewn all across the highway, there will be no visitation or funeral.
"Cannon the Camera" was nearly three years old and is survived by one sibling "Cannon the Camcorder" also of Athens.

Just Like Mommy

It is funny how soon little girls learn to be like mommy. I have noticed Allie likes to wipe things down with rags, play with the broom, investigate the vacuum. I like to clean, what can I say? Anyhow, now she has a shopping buggy Nana brought her this week. She is getting an early start. She might like to shop... just like me.

Bathroom fun!!!

I think the pictures are self-explanatory. This is how I keep Allie occupied while I get ready. She plays in the pads, tampons and jewelry. And, NO, they are not used!!!!

My first ponytail!!!!

O.K. I know this is a stretch but I want little Poo-Poos to have a ponytail sooo bad. Back in the day when I had long hair, I had such a pretty ponytail. At least I thought so. So, for those of you out there who remember my ponytail...Don't hate on me. Let me at least think I had it going on :)

Lovell Yard Sale

We had a fun this weekend. We had a family yard sale. I made more than I probably ever have and I am going to spend it today!! WooHoo!!
Anyway Allie had a blast. Uncle Jordan brought some little puppies to sell and Allie thought they were fantastic. She wanted to hold one soooo bad. I was afraid she would kill one so we couldn't let her hold it for long.

In all the excitment Allie had a little accident. She was sooo buddled up and since she is so short and sawed-off (like me, Matt would say), she took a nose dive into the concrete. So for the next few days you can refer to her as "Rudolf."

Several of us joined in the day's excitment. We even got Uncle Jim and Daddy to pose for a pic. Who would have thought these two crazy old men would grow up to have such precious little princesses?

Even the littlest Lovell was trying to haggle for a dollar...

Less of LUVS for the money

I have been a fan of LUVS for a while. They fit well and they are less expensive. But, the last box I bought were ripping and now this... Take a look at the picture below. Just a couple of weeks ago I could get 92 diapers in size 4 for around $21. Now, note the smaller box with just 78 diapers for the same price. Are we getting ripped off? Is it the economy? Have any of you noticed? I think the other brands have done the same thing...

And we also have the beautiful Miss Allie Clay modeling one of the diapers :)

Window Painting

Since I have been at home, I have thought of some interesting ways to make money. Just thought I would put this out there. I paint old windows as art for homes. I can do for any room of the house. I can personalize with initials, do Alabama/Auburn themes, children's themes, household themes. Above are some pictures... I charge $25-$40 depending on the frame and detail.

I love cheese puffs

You might not can tell by the picture but I gave Allie some cheese puffs in the car to keep her quiet. She got them all over her face. I thought this was a cute pic. We took the chance to go shopping today. Brave. I still have a hard time making trips to Huntsville with little "Poo-Poos."

Peeing everywhere

O.K. This is driving me crazy. I have gotten my hands on a faulty box of diapers or something. A lot of the diapers in last box of LUVS are ripping and Allie is running naked through the house. But, what is worse is that she is peeing in the floor after her little stripping escapades. I called LUVS and they are sending me a coupon. I am not sure what the problem is... Maybe she likes to be naked OR maybe she's got a severe itch and needs to be free... who knows.

Title explanation

Just to fill you in on the title of this blog. "Allie Play" is a nickname cousin Emma calls Allie. Her real name is Allie Clay. As for the "poo-poos" in the subtitle, that's what Matt and I like to call Allie. Out little "poo-poos." Mawmaw doesn't like it, but it is going to stick for now.

Picture time with cousin Ava

We finally got around to taking our one-year photos today with Aunt Erica. Allie was not too playful today but I think Erica got some good shots. I tried to get a decent picure of the girls. This is all I got...

Playing in the mud

Allie had a big time last night playing in the mud at our new house. Those who know me, know how hard it was for me...I am a "neat freak." I had to soak her sandals they were so caked with mud. Oh, note the stylish outfit. I just put on whatever was easy to find.

Lots of Love...
