Sometime in 2006- March 28, 2009

This just in...

Just after 1 p.m. Saturday, March 28, "Cannon the Camera" was whirled off the hood of Matt and Tashia Lovell's car. It happened as they were leaving a friend's house in the area of Whitesburg Drive in Huntsville.
Witnesses say they didn't see it coming.
"Debris was everywhere," said an onlooker. "I can't believe someone would mistreat such a beloved piece of equipment."
As tragic as the incident was, no charges will be pressed against the Lovells.
"I am so sad. It held so many memories," Tashia Lovell said.
"Well, it was your fault," Matt said. "Now you'll have to buy another one."
A fund has been set up at "There is Hope" Bank in Athens, Alabama. Donations may be made at any location. Monies will be used to purchase another camera.
Since the parts were strewn all across the highway, there will be no visitation or funeral.
"Cannon the Camera" was nearly three years old and is survived by one sibling "Cannon the Camcorder" also of Athens.
